Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (1)

Each year, the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASIS International, the world’s preeminent security industry association, hosts a Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD) which is attended by more than 200 front line police officers and public safety executives from a wide range of jurisdictions and agencies. In addition, the event is attended by corporate directors of security from many of Atlanta’s signature companies and corporations. The LEAD event salutes the men and women of law enforcement with a gala event and inspirational lunch program, which includes the presentation of a Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award to one officer who has demonstrated a high degree of bravery and unselfishness in the execution of his/her duties over the past year.

This year’s event will be held at The Metropolitan Club located at 5895 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30005 on Thursday May 9, 2019 at 11am. (Please plan to arrive at 10:30am for registration) Apart from our tribute to the fallen Georgia Police Officer heroes who sacrificed their lives in 2018, we will spotlight front line Police Officers who have made a positive difference and a life-long impact on the communities they proudly serve.

LEAD is free for all sworn public safety officers so, each year, ASIS enlists the aid of businesses and organizations like yours to support this very special event by sponsoring tables for the event, or by donating gifts and/or door prizes for police officers.
