December 14, 2022, Luncheon - December Greater Atlanta ASIS Chapter Meeting

This is the Greater Atlanta ASIS Chapter's December meeting. The $50 ticket includes lunch. ($40 for members).

Our speaker, Scott Ashworth, CPP, CSSP, and 2022 Outstanding Young Security Professional Award Winner will discuss the lessons he has learned transitioning from law enforcement to the private security industry and how his dedication to being a lifelong student made this transition successful. He will share key strategies for cultivating this mindset and achieving professional development milestones.

Scott is an accomplished and safety-conscious executive with comprehensive experience in directing all the aspects of security management. He currently serves as the Head of Safety and Security for Overtime. He proudly served as a Police Lieutenant with the City of Forest Park for over a decade steering a team of eight detectives, three sergeants, four investigators, and one evidence technician to make the community a safe place while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Counter terrorism and Homeland Security along with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Leadership. He serves his community as a reserve Deputy with the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.
