LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY 2026
Each year, the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASIS International, the world’s preeminent security industry association, hosts a Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD) attended by front-line police officers and public safety executives from diverse jurisdictions and agencies. In addition, the event is attended by corporate security directors from many of Atlanta’s signature companies and corporations. The LEAD event salutes the men and women of law enforcement with a gala event and inspirational lunch program, which includes the presentation of the George T. Davis Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award to one officer who has demonstrated a high degree of bravery and unselfishness in the execution of their duties over the past year. Additional awards will include:

*Narcotics Investigator of the Year

This year’s event will be held at Maggiano's Little Italy, located at 3368 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30326, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:30 am. (Please plan to arrive at 11:00 am for registration and seating arrangements that will be strictly enforced to accommodate everyone in a timely and orderly fashion.) Apart from our tribute to the fallen Georgia Police Officer heroes who sacrificed their lives in 2025, we will spotlight front-line Police Officers who have made a positive difference and a life-long impact on the communities they proudly serve.
LEAD is free for all sworn public safety officers. So, the Greater Atlanta ASIS Chapter annually enlists the aid of businesses and organizations like yours to support this growing special event through their sponsorships and donating gifts for our raffle drawings giveaways for police officers. Through the generous donations of our sponsors, we honored 150 deserving Law Enforcement Officers in 2024! The Greater Atlanta ASIS Chapter provides each sworn public safety officer in attendance with a thank you card and a restaurant gift card to show our appreciation for their service.
