2026 - Another Successful

CPP Study Cohort!

18 Participants. Five Exams Taken. Five Passed!

Congratulations to our 2026 CPP Study Cohort! Of the 18 participants, five have taken the CPP certification exam to date, and all five have passed!

Our chapter's certification program continues to benefit from the leadership of Larry Woods, CPP, PSP, Chapter Certification Chair, and his dedicated team of volunteer facilitators. Their contributions to advancing professional certification were first recognized with the 2021 ASIS International Professional Certification Board (PCB) Regional Certification Award.

Building on that legacy of excellence, Larry was honored with the 2026 ASIS International PCB Outstanding Achievement Award, recognizing his continued leadership, dedication, and contributions to advancing professional certification throughout the security industry.

We congratulate Larry on this prestigious recognition and extend our sincere appreciation to the entire facilitator team for their commitment to helping security professionals achieve their certification goals.

ASIS Certification: Your Path to Professional Excellence

In October 2026, the ASIS Greater Atlanta Chapter welcomed Eric Kready, CPP, Chair of the ASIS International Professional Certification Board, for an informative and interactive Lunch and Learn.

Eric shared valuable insights into ASIS professional certifications and answered questions about certification pathways, eligibility, exam preparation, and testing.

We're pleased to share his presentation deck as an additional resource for security professionals pursuing the CPP, PCI, PSP, and APP designations.
