Each year, the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASIS International, the world’s premier security industry association, hosts Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD), attended by frontline police officers and public safety executives from diverse jurisdictions and agencies. Additionally, the event is attended by corporate security directors from many of Atlanta’s prominent companies and corporations.
The LEAD event salutes the men and women of law enforcement with a gala event and inspirational lunch program, which includes the presentation of the George T. Davis Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award to one officer who has demonstrated a high degree of bravery and unselfishness in the execution of their duties over the past year.
