Law Enforcement Appreciation Day 2021

Each year, the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ASIS International, the world’s preeminent security industry association, hosts a Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD), which in the past has been attended by more than 200 front line police officers and public safety executives from a wide range of jurisdictions and agencies.  In addition, the event is attended by corporate directors of security from many of Atlanta’s signature companies and corporations.  The LEAD event salutes the men and women of law enforcement with a gala event and inspirational lunch program, which includes the presentation of a Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award to one officer who has demonstrated a high degree of bravery and unselfishness in the execution of his/her duties over the past year.

This year’s event will be held at The Metropolitan Club located at 5895 Windward Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30005, on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00am.  (Please plan to arrive at 10:30am for registration)  Apart from our tribute to the fallen Georgia Police Officer heroes who sacrificed their lives in 2020, we will spotlight front line Police Officers who have made a positive difference and a life-long impact on the communities they proudly serve.  We do all of this to recognize and honor law enforcement officers for their service.

LEAD is free for all sworn public safety officers so, each year, ASIS enlists the aid of businesses and organizations like yours to support this very special event by donating gift cards and/or door prizes for police officers or making a donation to the Greater Atlanta ASIS Chapter.  Your company name and logo listed on the program for your donation  along with being inlcuded in the Greater Atlanta ASIS Chapter September 2021  Newsletter.
